It's not that Julie's childhood bed was small - but it was definitely smaller than our bed here, and it turns out that when you put Julie right next to me in a bed she crawls on to my shoulder at around 3am pretty reliably (in her sleep). Add that to strange noises, alcohol, and the general lack of relaxedness I have when away from home, and I'm not surprised I fell asleep as soon as we took off yesterday, and slept all the way from 11pm through to almost midday.

I have about 30 tabs open of things I need to catch up with, including several LJ posts people have written since I killed my laptop. That should keep me going for the day. But first, some Borderlands with Julie - we've missed killing bad guys* together.

*Possibly bad guys. It's entirely possible they're the good guys and we're the bad guys. Also entirely possible that we're all bad guys. Borderlands is like that.
