Jun. 13th, 2003 07:57 amYour meme, should you choose to accept it, is to rank the following things in order, from "couldn't live without" to "couldn't care less". To add value to this process, you must also add one item to the list - which can be achieved by subdividing an old category if you like - before passing the meme on (including these instructions). You can remove one item too, if you want.

This was an odd list for me, the first 7 items involved going from the top down wondering which I cared about more, the bottom 9 involved working my way up figuring out which I was least indifferent to.

So, Andy, you'd prefer for your entire family to disappear than to use irony once in a while?
And videogames on the internet multiplayer (against family members preferably) gets highest of all.

Date: 2003-06-13 02:34 am (UTC)On a day to day basis, my family have very little effect on my life. I game with Hugh, I chat to you intermittently, I phone Mum and Dad once a week (or maybe twice), but you don't really figure that hugely.
Irony, on the other hand, gets used on a constant basis. I'm not sure I could last day if I didn't have it.

Date: 2003-06-13 02:52 am (UTC)Sarcasm - to say one thing and mean another, in order to cause emotional damage.
So, by taking Irony, I implicitly have sarcasm too!

Date: 2003-06-13 02:57 am (UTC)Such as one example from dictionary.com
“Hyde noted the irony of Ireland's copying the nation she most hated” (Richard Kain).
Not "Hyde noted the irony of Andy saying he really liked cheese, when in fact he hated it",
