Date: 2013-06-05 07:23 pm (UTC)However, when anyone says, "This [whole group] don't like..." I get annoyed because it just isn't true. People are people and are different from each other. Like they used to say in the 70s and 80s that women didn't like SF or comic books, when I had been reading both since the 50s and knew other women who had been doing to same. (Or, as a male friend of mine remarked in the 80s: "I know women compose 80% of Star Trek fandom - that's why I'm in it."
