In this case, banning him from The Oscars, because you're worried what he might do:

His latest film, by the way, is based on a book written by Saddam Hussein, with added references to Gaddafi. And you don't get funnier than that!

Do you think Sacha Baron-Cohen would ever do a parody about the attitudes of illegal settlers in the Occupied Territories? It sometimes seems to me that he chooses comparatively disadvantaged targets (Ali G, Borat, if not Gadaffi) from a position of advantage.

Comedy wise I prefer Chris Morris, Jerry Sadowitz and Victor Lewis-Smith.

Whilst I find SBC funny I'm afraid I think he occasionally picks his victims with little compassion.

I think we are all deserving of compassion – even if it is only the compassion of our execution not being bungled or available on YouTube.

I was thinking specifically of the guy in the Borat in America film who got shanghaied into appearing in the film and edited to look like an idiot.

I’ve a low tolerance for humour which relies on picking on ordinary people.

I usually dislike SBC with a vengeance, as his humor is crude and most of the time not funny to me and he is not upfront about what he does, but this actually got a chuckle out of me. I will now continue to ignore him.
