The goofy Mona Lisa cat is fab. Want to snuggle that cat.

"Luckily, most of them have rotted away to nothing, so we may still be victorious!"

Yeah, but demographically we're stuffed. With the live-people TFR so low, the ranks of the dead will soon be rising faster than the ranks of the living. And when the War comes, every fatality on our side is a new recruit to theirs. Replacement rate: one instant, vs about 16 years or more on ours, with impairment to frontline fighting capability during that time. We can only lose a war of attrition, so will have to hit hard and fast.

When the MRC article on voting and IQ indicates "significant" findings, as in "Among the significant results", what confidence level is this likely to be at?

As in there's a difference between statistically significant at 95%, 99% and 99.9% confidence levels. Any idea why the level isn't mentioned - is it just taken for granted that those reading the article will know?
