Date: 2012-02-03 08:03 pm (UTC)(My dog of a lifetime adored one of our cats, and our cat adored him. so much so that, after the dog died, he used to rush up to any dog that looked vaguely like him... as said dog was a GSD/Rough Collie cross that stood 26 inches at the shoulder and weighed about 9 stone...)

That said, we breed and show American Staffordshire Terriers, and I can't even imagine having 40+.. or 30.. or 20. :)

Date: 2012-02-04 08:05 am (UTC)I've seen Jack Russells in a group and they were the happiest Jacks I've ever seen. I go occasionally on a Basset Hound Welfare walk, and sixty basset hounds playing is utterly different to the usual lugubrious attitude of one or two together.
