Where is Arcata and why is it so cool?

Arcata is on the northern coast of California, about 100 miles or so south of the Oregon border. It's cool because it's in among the amazing redwood forests, because Humboldt State University is there, and because the region produces the finest, tastiest marijuana around.

It's also literally cool because it's almost always grey, foggy, windy, misty, etc. up there.
