Livejournal, and profiles, and things being fucked up, oh my!

So, LJ's upgrade of the comments system fucked up my journal's comments, meaning they were no longer threaded.

I figured that this was possibly because I was using a custom style that I'd hacked together myself. So I switched to a different one (in a particularly vile combination of colours) and that seems to have sorted the threading out.

Now I just need to make it look less awful and I'll be happy!

They apparently still haven't "up"graded it to eliminate comment titles, for which blessing moderate thanks.

They have if you're using S1 comment pages rather than S2 ones :(

It's sort of mucky pinky beige and khaki on my screen now. It was definitely brown when I commented though, I think he changed it pretty quickly... and repeatedly, it's been different every time I've looked this afternoon!

People using style=mine can still see your userpic choice (if they've got S1 or their own custom style with userpics picked) :).

It's now looking fairly decent for me except that the user interface has decided to be in French. wtf?
