But nyargh according to my own LJ rules I have to come up with a title for each post! That has a tendency to discourage short posts unless I happen to be reading a book that's particularly juicy with quotable bits.

My problem isn't posting as such. It's that I don't take the time to read or respond long posts.

I've seen people try "post every day for a week" things on DW, but then the week ends and they don't keep it up. But I've never seen people try to encourage commenting on other posts.
