Yeah, but it's a pretty low standard innit? I mean in pretty much every other media it takes rather more than not giving the female characters absurd vital statistics and skimpy clothing.

Oh, computer games are stereotypically the preserve of teenage boys, so they're pretty awful.

But if you look at a lot of SF movies/TV then having female characters that aren't just there to look pretty was an uphill battle too.

It would be awesome to have more deep female characters, but considering how many deep characters there are in general, that's possibly pushing it :->
