That's the film of American Psycho, from which all of the imagery is taken. He does a very good Christian Bale.

I liked both. The film is obviously going to leave out some bits from the book (because there are limits to what you can show on screen), but it still worked very well.

I actually prefer the film - I think it made the same point without the brain-freezing extremity.

I felt that some of the humour and satire of the book relied too much on being aware of it, but in the film they left out some of that and it actually improved it.
