How to find out which apps are using your network on Android

Dial *#*#4636#*#*

When you enter that last * it should automatically switch to a view used for testing/debugging.

Go to "Battery History"

Change the top menu to "Network usage".

There ya go!

Took me ages to track that down. It was very frustrating, as no applications seem to actually display this info in a useful manner. And even this view doesn't give you numbers of bytes, just a graph with no numbers on it.

Anyone got a way of tracking down better information?

Your recipe gave me all sorts of interesting data, but no network usage graphs.

This looks relevant, though - doesn't do graphs, but does break down usage by app. Not sure over what period:

Ooer. Worked For Me. Though I have a process named '0' which is eating most of the pies.

Hm. Mine is laid out a bit differently.
After dialling the magic number., I get 4 options:
Phone information
Battery information
Usage statistics
Wifi information

On "Usage statistics" I can "Sort by:" Usage time, Launch count and Application name. No graph found :(
I am on Android v2.3.4
