It's voting day!

The people that vote.

If we want change then we need to get people out there, voting.

If you care, at all, about improving the voting system then please, please, get out to your polling station today and vote Yes.

(I've taken the day off work, and I'll be out all day campaigning, because I couldn't live with myself if I didn't make all the difference I can.)

I walked along to the polling station with a neighbour who tells me that FPTP "has worked perfectly well for 10,000 years and there's no reason to change it now. It's just a waste of money."

Sigh.

And have you seen the shockingly wrong "no" double-page ad in the Metro today? For a moment, I thought it was a spoof.

I resent people like that - I saw a nice counter to that attitude (in the Metro Letters section of all places) saying if we never changed we'd still be living in the stone age.
