Yup, goats are awesome, and fine companions/pets -- if you live in the country... and don't have a Volkswagen (or other car that goats can consider an object to climb atop of, with their pointy hooves). And eventually the odor (even of the bucks) ceases to be unpleasant.

Strangely, I do exactly the same thing as Julie about cute animals. I'm currently cycling through the degu rats, chinchillas and kitten options with Hugh. Goat may now have to be added to the list.
