That video is awesome.

Although, as people point out: we don't see it take off or land, they don't describe its battery life / power consumption, and I imagine performance in a headwind wouldn't be great. For most actual *applications*, RC planes are still the way to go.

For utter beauty though, this one wins hands down.

Oh yes, I'm sure it's not the most efficient mode of transport. It's just impressive that we can now simulate the way birds fly.
