Scary religious people

I'm always drawn in by the idea of shadowy groups controlling governments from behind the scenes.

These people actually do it. Infiltrated by a reporter, they reveal quite how many people they control and how many countries they are active in...

Believe it or not, but I've actually met a fair amount of these sorts. Even in the coffeehouse. They're always impeccably dressed, and they always look scared of me. I engaged one in a conversation once, and he couldn't wrap his head around the idea that yes, I believed that Jesus existed and was probably a good guy and that I respected and enjoyed the RED words in the Bible, but that I didn't believe that he was any more divine than anyone else in this world.

Gods, that's terrifying - a better reason for leaving the US and moving far away I've never seen. Yet more evidence for my suspicion that some form of revolution is the only that way the US will stop being the vile and deeply inhumane nation that it currently is.
