Gag. This is yet another of these misattributed photo memes, like the panda who was clinging to keeper's legs for food, not a policeman's legs for earthquake reassurance.

Anyone who's followed the story will recognise that it's teh Lolrus and his keeper. The insensitively cheery keeper is trying to jolly the Lolrus up with a fish pie, but the Lolrus's grief for his lost bucket is too profound, and the inappropriate gesture has caused him to burst in to uncontrollable sobs.

I think it's a sad reflection on the Internet that what should be a private moment of personal distress is circulated for teh lulz, and I am cancelling my subscription forthwith.
