You don't scream like an asshole because you saw The Ring that one time." I don't think he factored in alcohol, but I'm still a little... freaked out by all the people who screamed and then edged by her.
Me too. I doubt I'd be scared of a small girl in a corridor, though I haven't seen (and don't want to see) The Ring. I might jump if I wasn't expecting anyone to be there, I might wonder what she was doing and ask her. I wouldn't edge past her like she was dangerous.
Yeah - I can understand going "Eep!", but the freaky behaviour after that makes me think that lots of people really do have barking mad ideas about the world/ways of interacting with it.
