That's just weird--James is having a very similar problem on LJ, but it's never, ever, happened to me. Do you handcode the embed, or use the embed menu in the update page?

Because if it's messing up for you, I suspect a general user would just give up, which is Bad.

I intermittently have it happen to me on LJ, this is the first time I've had it happen on dw.

I've never used the embed menu, I just paste the youtube code in and it works (98% of the time).
