Worth noting that this won't, of course, accurately reflect people with very high writing ability. When writing a dating site profile I always attempt to sound fairly smart, but to use clear English, few polysyllables, and short sentences. OKCupid's methodology would read that as much lower-proficiency than, for example, my academic writing.
