Date: 2010-09-05 08:08 pm (UTC)Unfortunately, I had just come straight from a primary school that had Acorn 5000 machines, running RiscOS. The Macs were just not as good. Finally, I've found most of Apple's reasons unconvincing (having quite happily used 3 mouse buttons some years previously, I found their reasons for a 1 buttoned mouse seriously backwards), and I spent my uni far too skint to afford anything other than a small upgrade for my crappy PC every few years.
Hence why I've never been addicted to Apple.
