Giving Sandman to Eric Kripke? Why not just hand it over to Uwe Boll?

I have some big supernatural fans on my friends list, and from the little bits I've seen it's seemed competent, at least.

Is it that bad?

It was. For a brief, shining couple of seasons, it was.

And then he realized that women liked the show. More than that, he realized that some of the reasons women liked the show was that it was gay. So he proceeded to kill onscreen, kill offscreen, kill and send to hell, or assassinate the character of and then kill every woman on the show, all the while trying to make everything as copiously heterosexual as possible.

My thoughts on Kripke can basically be summed up thusly: Never send a fratboy to do a nerd's job.
