Werewolves would be trivial to take down, unless they were very well organised.
Fast zombies are the only ones that strike me as a big threat. If they hit mainland Europe, for instance, then evacuating to the USA and hoping that the Bering Straits could be held would be about our best bet.

Date: 2010-08-23 11:47 am (UTC)On the zombies, most fix has a hopelessly unrealistic model of population dynamics. Am mobile atm so can't cite, but ISTR the literature backs mr up here - there's a chance but we have to hit hard and quickly. We'll never believe the threat in time.

Date: 2010-08-23 11:50 am (UTC)I shall look forward to your future comment about zombies - so far as I can see, the number of bodies which would be mobile are quite slim. They also move slowly and are reasonably easily disabled. Fast zombies/Infected are, of course, a different matter.
