An interpretation of Inception that I like very much
I like the idea, but it seems to me that the Mightygodking's version of events end somewhere different from he starts...
See, a lot of people think that the ending means the whole movie was a dream, but that’s not likely. To begin with, “it was all a dream” is no less of a cop-out just because your movie is about dreams, and if there’s room for multiple interpretations you might as well pick the one that doesn’t suck.
But then his interpretation would necessitate the whole thing being a dream? I'm slightly confused.
I don't get why it being a dream is a cop-out. Sure, if it ended with him waking up and saying, "Wow, crazy dream, I must knock off the cheese toasties before bedtime", then that would be bad.
But a guy genuinely lost in his subconcious? I think that's quite intriguing.
