One of the advantages of building stuff on Google App Engine is that you can use Google's infrastructure. Such as, in this case, allowing people to log in using their existing Google ID:

So now everything is stored, which (a) is much less annoying for me when I come to do my daily post and (b) puts more pieces in place for automatic posting.

I'd like to get this up on GitHub or somewhere like that, where I can let people open actual defects. Or, indeed, let other people offer patches to things (have you noticed that my HTML is...functional?). The problem being that I first need to look at the licenses for the stuff I'm using and see if they're compatible with each other. Most of them are Apache, which is fine, but I need to do some checks, and then work out what license I have to use for everything in order to not be breaking any of them.
