> Sexist jokes make sexist people think that sexism is ok

Well, duh. Good to see it written up, though!

One blah: I wish they didn't try to divide things up into "sexism" and "non-sexism". In a sexist culture, it's hard for any act to be 0% sexist.

Instead, there's a spectrum of behaviour which contributes to a sexist culture or improves it, where "not doing anything" leans towards contributing since it preserves the sexist status quo.

Why did Tivo disappear?

Why not switch to MythTV if you missed it?

What's most interesting is that sexist jokes had more effect than straightforward sexist statements. I'm guessing that the plain statement are heard with an element of "blah, blah, blah, more theory", while jokes are a real indicator of how people feel.
