Date: 2009-11-16 11:17 pm (UTC)One of your recent poster commented on how good health care for those in the military was. I can't help thinking that there's an element of making things shit by design for the poor and non-white, that to get health care or an education they 'have' to enlist.
It's also why Michael Moore's Sick is interesting, as the opposite of implicit Hollywood propaganda: Here's one of those all too rare films which is showing the other side of the coin, not what US films and TV would have us believe.
