Makes me glad I never bothered with farmville! Faux rural lifestyle aspirations for urbanites, damn it! Having lived with the occasional smell of pigshit for several years I have no such illusions. No, I'm sticking with Puzzle Pirates!
Hah! After my many years in a castle! And: damn you. Just wasted ten minutes on that! There's a desktop version of that game that's good but thankfully not open-ended: after five levels you beat the damn thing!
The Black Peter? Isn't that what they used to call syphilis?
I recommend taking a look at Defense Grid: The Awakening. I played the demo on Friday, paid £6 for the full version, and it then took up more of my weekend than I should really admit to :->
Very polished, and with a nice range of different tactics needed.
Ta for the Google link. I have no idea how they got hold of the tiny subset of my bloglines RSS feed for my undeletable unwanted Google reader account.
i posted the link to the Scamville one on my facebook. it seems not to be there anymore...
Now I will freely admit to having trouble lately with facebook not staying up to date, but I do very much wonder. Very much why I posted it, just to see what happened...
As I said, not 100% sure... Possibly. I have had a coupla weird posting issues in the past. I don't know whether to try again from say IE rather than Orca.
