If the Nazi's hadn't forced him to leave would Einstein have developed A-bombs for a German regime that was still imperialist (as they all were) but not anti-semitic? i.e. would A-bombs have settled the war with the USSR, a war the British were very happy to see? Or was his scientific genius matched in other areas?

Without a whole bunch of other people he wouldn't have invented it by himself. As it is, he didn't actually work on The Manhattan Project (although his letters did help instigate it).

I could see Einstein working with Von Braun rather than Oppenheimer had (t)he(y) not emigrated, doing unto the godless soviets (God does not play dice, after all)
