The Soul still Burns

andrewduckerChristmas 2000 I got a Dreamcast. I brought it back to Scotland and bought Soul Calibur for it, having seen several very good reviews.
For the following month the tv was hardly watched, as every time I walked into the living room there'd be at least two people madly pressing buttons as the gorgeously animated warriors knocked seven kinds of shit out of each other. People would find favourite characters, develop their moves, learn counters to each others moves and generally, if you wandered in and said "who wants a fight" there'd be a taker.
Over the next couple of months this slowly wore off, and the dreamcast, while still seeing use, has never been so intensely used again.
Today, I saw these Soul Calibur 2 screenshots.
I'm lost. I want this game so badly I can taste it. I'm going to have to buy a gamecube.
