I'm a sucker for expanded universes, unfortunately. I had to know.

A far better sequel exists in comic form already - "Lost Boys: Reign of Frogs". It has both Frog Brothers, Sam (with Nanook), Granpa and the widow Johnston, a whole bunch of vampires, and a vengeful David.

It even expands wonderfully on some of the plot-threads of the original. (Grandpa's "rootbeer" anyone?)

Much more fun and respectful than the limp piece of trash it leads into, sadly.
