Am I going insane?

I have Guitar Hero III for the Wii - it's on special for £40 at the moment in HMV, with a guitar.

However - it looks very much like a guitar by itself isn't available anywhere for less than £45.  And I'd rather like one so that Julie and I can rock out together.

I really dislike the idea of buying a game disk I don't need - but should I just bite the bullet and buy a second bundle?

We had the same problem and wound up buying the Guitar Hero Aerosmith bundle. That way we have two guitars and two different games. If you aren't an Aerosmith fan, however, this might not work for you.

Because there's no point giving them the disk if they don't also have a guitar to go with it...

There aren't any other Wii games with compatible guitars are there? You might find someone with a guitar already who could use the disc.

Worth noting you can also do that at CEX too, where they have additional tech/entertainment available.

On problem - the world tour guitar is different to the guitar hero 3 guitar. Yes you can use both, but you wont have slider bar for hammer ons.

But you love me for it! Technically I have cost you £70 this week, but in a cute and cuddly way. That's cheaper than some women and far more responsive because you'll get told off by the game for pressing the wrong buttons.
