Here is the nerdiest collection of nerddom that you'll likely ever see. In which people relate, nay compete over, their nerdiest ever moments.

So, here's mine:
When I was 13-ish (give or take - it was a while back, so the details are fuzzy in my brain) I was obsessed by Heinlein. My parents had a load of his books, and I set about filling in the gaps in their collection. I must have read most of them at least three times.

One of my brothers noticed this, and I told them that I'd read them so much that I could identify any of them from minor details. I bet that given a couple of sentences, with no character names, I could tell them which book it was.

So they grabbed a book and tried me. And I got it. And another. I got that too. And they went through seven books before giving up.

My name is Andrew Ducker, and I was a complete Heinlein Nerd :->

I don't have a specific incident but since I read alot that most people don't bother with I find myself giving people information about very obscure things at times and get that "you're strange" look in return.
This happens several times a month at least.
Can't remember books in that detail (until I unintentionally start to reread them).
I have read all of Heinlein, Asimov, E.E Doc and many other authors.
Caution: If you decide to read all of Asimovs work it could take a very long time (about 500 books) - I remember him admitting he was never very far from his typewriter, so wrote every day for decades (and he wrote pretty fast). Some of his science books are very good.
