Here is the nerdiest collection of nerddom that you'll likely ever see. In which people relate, nay compete over, their nerdiest ever moments.

So, here's mine:
When I was 13-ish (give or take - it was a while back, so the details are fuzzy in my brain) I was obsessed by Heinlein. My parents had a load of his books, and I set about filling in the gaps in their collection. I must have read most of them at least three times.

One of my brothers noticed this, and I told them that I'd read them so much that I could identify any of them from minor details. I bet that given a couple of sentences, with no character names, I could tell them which book it was.

So they grabbed a book and tried me. And I got it. And another. I got that too. And they went through seven books before giving up.

My name is Andrew Ducker, and I was a complete Heinlein Nerd :->

What has long been lauded as my nerdiest moment came in college, when some friends and I were walking back to the dorms from being in town. There was an empty parking lot we had to walk by, and as they started to take the sidewalk around it I quickly calculated in my head and then exclaimed "Let's take the hypotenuse, guys, it's quicker!" I still don't think they've forgotten to make fun of me for that.
