Stress.

To be specific, stress in movies. Where they pump the stress levels, and then they pump them up some more. And then something comes out of nowhere at you. And then they pump them up some more.

Which is why I just left Julie and Ed watching the remake of Dawn of the Dead, because 10 minutes of it was enough to make me realise that I was going to spend the entire film with a heart rate of 180, clutching at the sofa (or Julie).

I can cope with nastiness (I liked Audition). I can cope with some stress. But long periods of it just drive me insane.

Of course, this wouldn't be a problem if you took the side of the zombies.

Wuss. It's a really good movie.

Makes me think I shouldn't ever run "All Flesh Must Be Eaten" then. :P

Teh Dawn remake is rather splendid but lacks the nuances, humour and more subtle pacing of the Romero original, which I have a massive softspot for.

Diary of the Dead is looking rather good!

I hate the movie "Clockwise" for that very reason.

I just find myself getting stressed in sympathy. Where's the fun in that?
