Point 4: Truth be told, my initial reaction was positive ... and then I read further and my opinion soured more & more. Paying students is good, even if it helps spread propaganda, but it needs to be voluntary. Then I read that it is targeting just the Chinese students AND they will be punished if they don't participate. Yikes!

However, it would inspire to my mind at least, a niche opportunity to have someone become a 'rent a shill' who will attend in their place - in MANY of their places - so they can give the attendance tick to students for a percentage of the payment. Everyone would benefit.
