The kids are watching an episode of SpongeBob where he's failing to write an essay. It is, frankly, stressing me the fuck out.

hehe at least he isn't trying to write a coding assignment! At Uni, I recall always thinking essays were easier to "complete" - just churn out the required number of words and call it done. Programs actually had to work too (and, as I recall, be fully documented!!).

but ...

1. I dont think I did any subjects that needed essays... (Maths, Comp Sci, Japanese, Biology)
2. I have very little trouble with factual writing (broadly, perfecting it for clarity takes a wee bit of time).

I have no problem writing factual things nowadays, providing I actually understand the subject. I think I could probably do a degree quite easily now.

Not gonna though.

Yeah. After about 2 years of actual office work I thought "a degree would be piece of piss now...". Still not gonna. Was mildly tempted by music degree but too many obstacles (Really hard to get into here in Germany).
