I have three dead games, and one live one.

Anyone else found that most of their scrabulous games died off?

Is the phase over?

I'm sitting on 6 live games and 2 inactive ones but the inactive ones are both rl friends who are out of the country at the moment.

Although there was an article in the metro (bastion of perfect reporting that it is) that mattel have demanded it be removed as it's breaching copyright...

Yeah, I'm down to two games, one of which is pretty inactive.

[livejournal.com profile] nhw, I'd say 'quick, start another five!' but I'll be away for a week from Saturday ...

Some do die off. Most of my games with work colleagues are dead as Facebook now blocked.

I pretty much stopped playing awhileback, always meant to post telling people I'd resigned but never quite got around to it.

I think I overdosed on it and then lost interest after too much time spent playing it. That and I found some other apps that were fun.

According to the Metro Scrabble has just taken out an injunction against Facebook, so you may never get to finish your game.

So I saw as well, but I can't seem to find anything else to back it up...

My mistake, it's now made it as far as the BBC

Is Scrabulous basically the same as Tamagotchi?

Grin! Yes, but a very literate multi-player tamagotchi!

Clearly our accounts specifically have a problem. I started one on Facebook. It's right there. ENVYING, 80 points. Just so's you know. *Smirks*

My computer broke so I had to abandon my games! However seeing as I'm currently stealing my mother's I will go and play my next move. And beat you.

But it's the same with most online games- super popular for a wee while then people kind of lose interest {remember that "whack a penguin" one?!}. I think there are plenty of people still playing Scrabulous though.

FACEBOOK IS RANK! And soooooo last year.

Get off Satan's network and start word games on Livejournal or in real life or something.

It's all about fresh air in 2008.

Don't organise events. Stop trying to meet people, it makes life easier.

And nobody thinks they're obsessed. It's like rapists who think they just have sex with an edge.

Your deluded and clearly insane. Go back to bed.

Still playing about 5 games at once. Taking moves every night.
2 or 3 dead games out of 30+

It may not be available much longer on Facebook. Hasbro/Mattel say its use infringes their trademark.

Facebook has been asked to remove the Scrabulous game from its website by the makers of Scrabble.

I've got 4 on the go and 3 inactive.

I'll start another one with you while I still have the chance...

I dunno, I only have one person I play with regularly but we've been playing for about 3 months straight now and whenever we finish one game we just start up another. I'm going to be really sad if Scrabble makes them take it off, because I can't play scrabble with you guys in real life anyway.

Nope, usually have about eight or nine active, and only one dormant right now.

Not having notifications makes it harder. I lost interest and am coming back for air.., Play me! I'm getting interested again!

I have two live, but both were started by a friend in the States (not sure if that makes a difference). I'm also pissed off about Pandora!

Still playing games regularly, though as Mandy says that could be ending soon...
