Back of fag-packet calculations

Have just spent 30 seconds playing with Excel, and discovered that on the 29th of September 2008 I will have lived half my life in Scotland.

I thought it was this year, which goes to show my maths skills aren't what you'd hope of the employee of large financial company.

In any case I now have a year to think of some way of celebrating this.

Maths != arithmetic - at least, that's how I get out of similar situations when 3*8 turns out to be different every time....and deep-fried mars bars along w' haggis!
