The original plan was for me to finish my work today, leap on a train and head northwards to join Erin for 5 days before I started me new job.

Then she found out that a short film she was Scottish production manager for last year had been accepted into Raindance, persuaded the Herald to pay her to cover the festival and made plans to travel on the Wednesday (tomorrow). I'd therefore get about 12 hours with her before she left, leaving me to my own devices for 4 days.

Today, the weather in Scotland took a turn for the worse and cut off both the train and the roads between Scotland and England. So I'm staying down until Friday, going to see her film on Thursday afternoon, and she's going to hopefully meet the puppy.

Not how I planned to spend this week, but it'll have to do...

The weather is SO horrible. Most of the roads between Stirling and Glasgow are flooded so I'm stuck at my parents too. We both get to play with cute doggies so it's not too bad. Yay for doggies. :)
