Uncreasonable hope

Just watched the trailer for V for Vendetta and _it_ looks good.

Now, if they can just make the film that good then I might actually be happy...

I agree, it does look good. But I still think that it would have made a better mini-series than a single film.

I'd love it to be good, but Alan Moore's publicly dissociated himself from it, which is a bit worrying...

Seen that Mr Moors is disassociating himself. I'm going to wait and see.

I didn't go and see LOEG. Or From Hell. I'm still waiting for a decent movie :->

He's already said (before this film was being made) that he wants nothing to do with any films of his work. Presumably people ie journalists etc, keep trying to link him with films of his work.

And, to be honest, Alan Moore is the -last- person I'd trust for -anything-. While I like his comics a lot, he is quite clearly a crazy person.

Scanning around a bit more - what he -really- objected to was DC making up things he'd said about the film... so he cut his ties with DC and the film..

He -did- rant about the script being full of holes etc... But I can't remember the last Hollywood film that -didn't- have holes in the script...
