Date: 2005-06-22 07:24 am (UTC)[I did the same at work last week, when I generated maps for about a dozen different venues we use, carefully cutting and pasting the URLs from the location bar - you need to click on the "link to this page" button to get the URL of the page you're actually on]
Oh, and Multimap *used* to have nice high-res aerial views of Edinburgh.
[Meandering further, if you look at the relevant Multimap aerial photo, you can see it was taken the day before the London Eye was swung up to vertical]

Date: 2005-06-22 08:22 am (UTC)I think I still prefer the Multimap version for getting aerial views of places like Stonehenge and various assorted chalk sculptures: not only do you need an actual postcode for the Google interface, but the images are watermarked.
