Hard Day's Work

I started the day with a visit to a shop of technology, where I boot a 39 foot cable to allow the cable TV to be moved to a different room.

I then dropped by Hugh's and spent 2 hours taking down doors, shaving bits off of them and putting them back up (now able to close).

Then to town, where I helped Erin sort out her mobile phone contract.

Then home (with Hugh in tow) to swap over the living room and my bedroom.  The basics are all done - all I need to do now is move the TV through and put a load of stuff up on different shelves.

It's been a long day - I'm off to watch a documentary about autism, then the new Dr Who, and then to fall over into bed.

The thought of you and DIY is just *SO* strange. I mean any other perversion that you might take up wouldn't get so much as a blink, but Andy and tools bigger than a screwdriver?? No way, man, no way.

I've done occasional DIY since before you ever met me. I don't _enjoy_ it - but it's not hard to do the basics.
