Yeah, the "right" Jew in Israel thing annoys the crap out of me. I've written letters attesting to the Jewishness of my congregants and been rebuffed. When I was a kid I could become an Israeli citizen on the plane over the Mediterranean.

Good thing I don't want to move there myself.
