The light is rising

For the first time this year I've left the office and it wasn't pitch black outside. Dark, but not *night*.

I’m further south, and have noted the daycare starting to close outside now.

The worst is the manhattan-henge that can occur shortly.

It was still light around 4.45 here even on a dull and damp day.

I don't care about evening. The year isn't in my happy zone until it's light at 5 in the morning.

Thankfully I never get to see 5am. And the sun is now rising at 7:50, which is ten minutes before I leave the house in the morning.
