I wonder how quickly the dunes of the Gobi desert in picture five will affect and then bury the panels.?
At least several of these solar farms are raised and allow agriculture or wildlife to continue beneath them.
I remember reading about black plastic balls being used to cover reservoirs in the US; perhaps to reduce evaporation. Maybe solar panels will have the same effect.
