Aspartam triggers insulin release? Interesting! I'll have to experiment.

Yeah! This is part of what triggered me to write up the big post about my health, because I never noticed when I was also having lots of sugar, but now that I'm not the insulin release from diet drinks is really obvious.

Wow. That's been suspected for a while I think, but it seems they have confirmed it now.

Academic interest only for me. I've always hated the taste of sweeteners, but I don't drink soft drinks, or eat much prepackaged food at all and don't have insulin issues.
