Today I went from "relaxing in the bath" to "at the bus stop with two fully dressed children and their swimming lesson gear" in 12 minutes.

In related news Jane is the best wife in the world and I am delighted I don't have to raise children without her.

(I haven't been making use of our new bath because I never feel like I have the time. This morning she ran the bath and then told me that she was going to look after the kids while I got into it. And it was clearly far too relaxing because I completely lost track of the time!)

Sounds lovely. Well done all of you for making that small pleasure happen.

I pretty much don't have any long baths because I can't read without glasses. :-(. At least my back isn't so bad this decade, so I don't need them to unseize.

I solved that by wearing my glasses in the bath.

(Although I can read my phone without them if I hold it close.)

(The bathroom radiator is the one that's not got a thermostat on it)

My bathroom is neither warm nor cold. Maybe 16-18C? But I like my water HOT HOT HOT, so the differential may be high.

Oh well. In any case, I'm not taking my lovely but wildly expensive e-reader in the bathroom to get steamed, so I'll stick with the occasional shorter bath until I get bored.

Yeah, I wouldn't do it if my phone wasn't very waterproof!

Though my boat tablet is waterproof. Also still in the boat. Gah. Oh well, it's in a waterproof bag with silica gel.

I was thinking, 12 minutes to get out of the bath and all dried off and dressed, and to the bus stop... then I realized you only wrote that the children were fully dressed, not that you were too :)
