I read somewhere - almost certainly here - that what AI does is not to summarise information but to shorten it. This made sense of the results I’ve had so far.

The buses in my region have pantograph chargers. When the bus is stopped in the terminal, an arm automatically drops down and connects the charger wire to rails on the top of the bus. No need to plug in anything.

The model of bus they've bought supports that as a variant. I assume there's a reason they haven't gone for it.
