I remember seeing adverts on TV for The Neverending Story as a child, but never watched it, or found out what it was about.

As a result, I always had the idea that it ought to have been sold on a VHS cassette in which the tape was connected in a loop and just kept on and on going round.

3. As always, hate the headline appreciate bits of the article, and have to remind myself its not an in depth piece with room for nuance . I am always entertained/despairing when I go to cons and hear the difference between the England based london-centric people and the not london/home counties people talking.

We don't need a Neverending TV series; already have Grey's Anatomy & NCIS... ;-)

Actually never seen it; nor Labryinth, though both are almost as ubiquitous as soaps; not seen one of those since my mother died in the late 80s, but sometimes you know the plot whether you want to or not.

Same thing with Game of Thrones; not seen a single episode, but it feels like I have.
